Sharpen nabs Gold Stevie ABA Award for Product Developer of the Year; Silver Award for Best New Product
INDIANAPOLIS, June 20, 2018 – Sharpen Technologies, developers of the agent-first omni-channel cloud contact center platform, has received the 2018 Stevie American Business Award for Product Developer of the Year and Best New Product of the Year.
Sharpen’s Aron Droege, director of product development, received the Gold Stevie Award for Product Developer of the Year. He was honored for creating the company’s quality assurance team, which has helped Sharpen improve product performance.
“Our QA team helped us reduce trouble tickets by 26 percent last year alone even as we added customers,” Droege said. “It’s really gratifying to be part of something that’s resulted in tangible benefits for our customers.”
Also contributing to his nomination was the development of several product upgrades, which included unified communications enhancements, new reporting capabilities, and the ability for customers to easily create their own integrations and customizations.
Sharpen received the Silver Stevie Award for Best New Product of the Year (Software: Cloud App/Service category) based on its major contact center platform upgrade released in May 2017.
The release was designed to give customers increased capacity, speed and reliability.
“Our latest enhancements give customers unparalleled performance and quality,” said Sharpen’s chief technology officer Bracken Fields. “While many vendors claim this, we can actually back it up. Since our latest version was launched, we’ve achieved a Mean Opinion Score of 4.4, which is the highest score you can get for the codec G.711 standard. In non-technical terms, this means our customers can give their customers the best quality of experience possible.”
