Sharpen Wins a Silver Stevie® in the 2020 American Business Awards®

INDIANAPOLIS, June 8, 2020 – Sharpen Technologies, developers of the agent-first contact center platform, has won a Silver Stevie for Web Writing and Content in the 18th Annual American Business Awards.® The winning series of campaigns, developed by the tech company to improve agent experience and customer service, was recognized by judges for its “dynamic writing style and content,” “engaging tone,” “effective use of imagery,” and “quantifiable results.”

The American Business Awards are the U.S.A.’s premier business awards program. All organizations operating in the U.S.A. are eligible to submit nominations – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small. The ABA received more than 3,600 nominations for this year’s competition in a range of categories, including Startup of the Year, Executive of the Year, Marketing Campaign of the Year, Live Event of the Year, and App of the Year, among others.

“The marketing team at Sharpen has worked tirelessly for years to establish our company as an authoritative, accessible, and genuine source for contact center knowledge,” noted SVP of Marketing, Murph Krajewski. “Winning this award is extremely gratifying, not only as recognition of hard work done well but because we’re bringing real value to our own company as well as to those who’ve come to know and rely on our content.”

Sharpen’s prize-winning campaign was developed to fill a critical information gap in the contact center industry’s approach to solving customer satisfaction. Through its blog, long-form content, and interactive resources, the company publishes an array of tips, tricks, and templates for managers and agents to use to run effective contact centers. Applauded by judges for copy that is “well-crafted and very customer focused” and content that is “easy to read and comprehend,” the successful campaign resulted in a 91% increase in consumption and 455% more website activity than the previous year.

“Despite the toughest business conditions in memory, American organizations continue to demonstrate their commitment to innovation, creativity, and bottom-line results,” said Stevie Awards president Maggie Gallagher. “This year’s Stevie-winning nominations are full of inspiring stories of persistence, ingenuity, resourcefulness, and compassion. We celebrate all of their stories and look forward to showcasing them during our virtual awards ceremony on August 5.”
