How Does it Work?
Unlike other PCI compliant tools, Sharpen Payments does not require agents to transfer the customer out to a third party IVR. The agent will accept payment via the callers dial-pad through the use of DTMF tones. These tones, representing credit card information, are not audible or visible to the agent at any time and are securely transmitted through the authorization and charge process. Once the transaction is successful, the sensitive details of the card along with any DTMF tones are securely deleted to maintain full PCI-DSS compliance. Once the transaction is complete, the agent will be immediately connected back with the customer to ensure a seamless experience for both the customer and the agent.
